Roundabout, by Yes
May i just recommend that Manly Skills section? There is so much to learn from this website. I already learned how to wrestle an alligator! There is actual legitimate information to glean from this site. Go check it out.
fan-freakin-tastic. I can’t wait to count the bruises on my arms tomorrow morning. Everyone around me was so full of happiness, it was like a shower outdoors. They had the best background set up at the location, too, with these HUGE white balloons and projections of birds flying through cotton-poof clouds made with smaller balloons and fuzz. Low lights, high sound, beats through my heart through my heartbeats. Best sweat ever. Great night. Saw my friends from all over the place and hugged them all. i live at concerts.
Gigs.
- You get crushed to the point you think you’re going to die.
- You struggle breathing in between thousands of people.
- You queue for hours on end to get near the front.
- You travel ridiculous distances to see your favourite bands.
- You sweat and look like a complete mess.
- You’re being pushed around by strangers.
- You’re feet kill from being stomped on and jumping around.
- You have no voice the day after from singing/screaming so loud.
But none of this matters, because you’re having the time of your life.
it was pretty much great. there were adventures, close calls, a quick run for some fries, cravings for coca-cola, noise rock, experimental music, a classical bass, a cellist and a violinist, the drummer that i saw playing at Whartscape, a girl belly-sliding across the room on a skateboard, a drunk guy doing interpretive dances, and love everywhere.
